Seal: The versions with O-ring and with copper washer comply with DIN 908 and seal via the sealing element on the collar; the threads are parallel. VSG and VSR comply with DIN 906 and are screwed in flush, VSG with parallel and VSR with tapered thread. A sealant is required for parallel threads without a sealing element — see group sealing tapes and thread sealants.
